Christian was born in Winston Salem, NC. After high school, He returned to Winston to train for ministry at Piedmont Bible College from 1990-1995. From 1993-1996 he served at North Point Baptist in Winston. He served at Bethel Baptist in Rockwell, NY from September 96 for one year.

Christian comes to us the second time here as Music Director. He served from October 12, 1997 to January of 2019. He resumed ministry here on September 1, 2023.

I feel like I’m finally home….again”, says Brother Christian. “As a Father of 9 and owner of a small business, it is always busy, but the satisfaction of being around my Church family again has made such an impact in my heart. I thank God for the second wind for ministry and for this incredible season of growth here at BGBC. God is so Good…What an honor to be appointed for this time and place!”

    Christian has several children in music ministry and/or in preparation for music ministry or evangelism. Joshua(29), his oldest, is serving our Country in the U. S. Navy. Jonathan(24) and his wife Aimee are serving as a music director in Augusta, Ga.  Nathan(19) is working full time at a Christian School. He also is readying himself for ministry and evangelism in Orlando very soon. Caleb(17) is playing in the orchestra at his large church in Jacksonville while also serving on his High School worship team. Joseph(15) is already producing music. Jordan(13) is in 8th grade and Emily(10) is in 5th grade. Christian’s two adult daughters are Abigail(22), Bethany(20) and they live in Jacksonville. Brother Christian has 5 grandchildren so far.
